Obstacles

Section 1024.2.5 focuses on the marking of obstacles along the egress route. Obstacles can be hose cabinets, standpipes or anything that projects more than 4 inches into the egress path. The marking has to be luminescent with a contrast of black so that the obstacle can be clearly recognized as such.
