Material properties and processing hints:
For all our flexible and rigid substrates, both air dry and UV dry screen printing work fine. You can print well on
PERMALIGHT® photoluminescent vinyl and rigid PVC using commercially available PVC-compatible inks. You may apply commercially available films (e.g., reflective lettering) to our substrates.
PERMALIGHT® photoluminescent flexible film/vinyl substrates can easily be die-cut, kiss-cut and punched. Their high performance adhesive guarantees a durable adhesion for interior application for years to come.
PERMALIGHT® Polyester thin films are only around 0.013” (0.33 mm) incl. liner. Our photoluminescent Polyester thin film 81-2515 in 15” width with perforation is perfectly suited for thermo-transfer printing (e.g., with the GERBER Edge®).
PERMALIGHT® rigid PVC sheets are sturdy plastic substrates, combining high elasticity and toughness at the same time. The sheets can get cut to size using a process cutter or guillotine shear. Create 3-dimensional signage by heat forming on a strip heater. The sheets are non-adhesive, yet you can easily apply double-sided tape for material installation to walls. Another option: drill holes and screw attach rigid signs or low location outlining to walls.
